A) Employment through Skill Training and Placement Programme under Jharkhand Skill Development Mission Society (JSDMS)

i. Deen Dayal Upadhyay Kaushal Kendra (Mega Skill Centre)

JSDMS intends to set up, operate, maintain and manage Mega Skill Centres through Public Private Partnership (PPP) mode. It has been named as Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Kaushal Kendra (DDU KK) which shall conduct the training programs of longer duration wherein BPL candidates would be able to get skilled with deeper technical acumen combined with mandatory on job training (OJT) so as to make these candidates industry ready.It is a residential training program and it is one of the flagship project under Govt. Of Jharkhand. DDU KK truly represents the Scale, Speed and Standard of skilling in Jharkhand. We got an work order of 30000 students across Jharkhand in 5 years. Till date we have trained more than 3500 students and placed more than 2600 students under Automotive, Apparel, Tourism & Hospitality and Retail Sectors.

ii. Saksham Jharkhand Kaushal Vikas Yojana (SJKVY)

SJKVY aims at providing quality skills training to youth in the age group of 18-35 years and is being implemented across the state of Jharkhand. It is residential training program. The training programs are aligned with the National Skills Qualification Framework (NSQF) and responsive to industry needs. Payment terms and schedule are guided by the Common Norms notified by the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE) dated 15th July, 2015 and its amendments notified thereafter. The scheme aims to facilitate employment to 70% of successful trainees through placement-linked and self-employment training in various trades/courses affiliated to different Sector Skill Councils (SSC). We got an work order of approx 6000 students in 3 years. Till date we have trained more than 2000 students and placed more than 1500 students under Automotive, Apparel, Tourism & Hospitality and Retail Sectors.

iii. Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY -CSSM)

The flagship scheme of PMKVY-2 is proposed to be implemented through the State Skill Development Missions for 25% of the state target. Jharkhand has received a skilling target of 57,668 to be completed in the next three years, under CSSM component. JSDMS has empanelled 20 Training Partners and have allocated the target to achieve its mandate. We are one of the training partner implementing approx 2000 students in 1 year. Till date we have trained more than 1500 students and placed more than 10000 students under Automotive, Apparel, Tourism & Hospitality and Retail Sectors.

B) Employment Linked Skill Training and Placement Programme under National Urban Livelihood Mission (NULM)

Deendayal Antyodaya Yojana-National Urban Livelihoods Mission (DAY-NULM):

To reduce poverty and vulnerability of the urban poor households by enabling them to access gainful self employment and skilled wage employment opportunities, resulting in an appreciable improvement in their livelihoods on a sustainable basis, through building strong grassroots level institutions of the poor. For last 4 years we are implementing Jharkhand NULM project in Automotive, Hospitality, Electrical & Electronics and Capital Goods sectors. We have trained more than 3000 students and placed more than 2000 students till date.
